There was an 1890 Census taken on Vashon-Maury Island, however most Census Enumeration Records were destroyed in a fire in 1921 that occurred in the building where they were kept in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, it appears this destruction included all 1890 Census Enumeration Records for Vashon-Maury Island.
